The vehicle resale company CarMax agreed to settle a civil lawsuit for over $1 million that was brought by the district attorneys of six California counties alleging violations of state consumer protection laws in March.
The suit was filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court by the counties of San Francisco, Santa Clara, Sonoma, and three in Southern California.
