Rancho Cucamonga Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder in Stabbing Incident

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA, – A 35-year-old woman, Deborah Esteen-Jordan, from Rancho Cucamonga, has been arrested for attempted murder following a stabbing incident. The attack, which occurred on Sunday, January 28, at approximately 6:20 p.m., took place on the 7600 block of Haven Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.

Responding to the scene, deputies discovered a 76-year-old female victim who had been stabbed multiple times. The deputies administered lifesaving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was subsequently transported to a regional trauma center. She remains in stable but critical condition, with expectations of survival.

The investigation revealed that Esteen-Jordan, a cohabitant of the victim, had used a kitchen knife in the attack. Detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff Station have taken over the investigation. Following the incident, Esteen-Jordan was apprehended and is currently detained at the West Valley Detention Center.
