POMONA, Calif., June 24 (KNN) — Los Angeles County Fire Department crews battled a brush fire on a hillside in the city of Pomona Monday afternoon.
Firefighters and Pomona police officers responded to a fire in the hills of Westmont at Phillips Drive and Westmont Avenue shortly after noon.
Once firefighters arrived on scene, they located a brush fire at the top of the hillside.
Per LACoFD information from the scene, the fire is about one to two acres in size.
It is unknown at this time how the fire started.
