Two people were rescued from a crash involving a semi truck and a pickup truck on the 710 Freeway in California on Thursday.
The crash happened on January 2nd at about 1:50 p.m. on the northbound 710 Freeway north of Del Amo Boulevard in Long Beach, California.
According to Long Beach Post News , the cause of the crash is still unclear, but the Long Beach Fire Department arrived at the scene to find a semi truck cab and trailer on the roof of a pickup, trapping two people inside.
Firefighters were able to free one of the people, and then called a heavy wrecker to help free the second. No information on injuries has been released.
All lanes of the freeway were blocked for about a half hour, and traffic backups reached south of Anaheim Street. No further information on the crash has been released.
