FULLERTON, California — Fullerton Police Department officers had a hectic day with multiple arrests involving firearms, drugs, and burglary. The day began with the arrest of a convicted felon in possession of a loaded firearm, followed by a residential burglary arrest and two traffic stops leading to further charges.In the morning, officers arrested a convicted felon in the area of Hartford and Bastanchury, who was found with a loaded firearm. The individual was booked on seven felony charges and four misdemeanors, according to the Fullerton Police Department.Later that night, officers responded to a residential burglary in progress near Napa and Valencia. With the help of FPD K-9 Officer Goose, the suspect was apprehended and booked for residential burglary, stated the department.A couple of hours later, a traffic stop near Brookhurst and the 91 Freeway led to the discovery of an un-serialized firearm in the vehicle. The driver, who had an active warrant, was booked on multiple gun-related charges, according to the press release.Less than an hour after that, another traffic stop in the area of Brookhurst and Valencia resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia and various illegal substances. Four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and booked on several charges, including outstanding warrants and drug-related offenses, the department reported.
