GARDEN GROVE, California — A 19-year-old Garden Grove resident was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in a parking lot last week, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.The victim, 26-year-old Trieu Huynh, also of Garden Grove, was found with a gunshot wound to the head on February 21, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m. in a parking lot near 9622 Garden Grove Blvd. Officers rendered medical aid until the Orange County Fire Authority arrived, but Huynh succumbed to his injuries on February 24, 2025, at a local hospital.On February 26, 2025, detectives arrested Chan Tham Giang in San Ysidro as he attempted to cross the border into Mexico.
