A minke whale that had been swimming around in the Long Beach Harbor for most of last week was found dead Sunday morning.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was working with local officials to examine the carcass and determine what happened to the whale, according to Michael Milstein, public affairs officer with NOAA.
