LA Metro Begins Concealed Weapons Screenings

In alignment with LA Metro’s safety campaign , the city began their screenings for concealed weapons today, on Monday, April 28 at the C-Line Norwalk station. Using new systems that are far less evasive than traditional metal detectors, the aim is specifically to detect concealed weapons and items that may be dangerous for Metro riders as opposed to anything made of metal.
