Santa Ana, CA (May 19, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 5 near Sand Canyon Avenue left one person injured on Monday evening, May 19. California Highway Patrol reported to the scene around 6:01 p.m. after receiving reports of a collision involving a white Honda Civic and an unidentified vehicle.
Emergency crews provided initial medical assistance on site. One person was later transported to a local hospital for further care, though the extent of their injuries remains undisclosed. Authorities worked quickly to clear the damaged vehicles and restore normal traffic flow. Investigators from CHP are reviewing the crash scene to determine what may have contributed to the collision.
