6 teens hospitalized, including 5 with life-threatening injuries, after Moreno Valley party shooting

A total of six teenagers were shot overnight in Moreno Valley, and five of them are in critical condition, according to officials.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez confirmed to KTLA that multiple calls regarding shots being fired came out just before 11 p.m. Saturday night in the 12100 block of Orchid Lane.

The area where the shooting was reported is a small residential neighborhood near the intersection of Perris Boulevard and Hemlock Avenue.

Sgt. Brito-Gonzalez stated that, upon deputies’ arrival to the scene, they located five victims with injuries “consistent with gunfire.”
