Los Angeles, United States – July 04, 2025 07/03/2025 06:58 pm GMT-0700 BREA, Calif. – The Brea Fire Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a brush fire on the northbound 57 Freeway, just north of Lambert Road. Firefighters arrived on the scene and located a large fire on the hillside. Air support from both Orange County and Los Angeles County quickly came to assist. As of this evening, the fire has grown to approximately five acres in size. The California Highway Patrol has reported that only one lane of the northbound 57 Freeway is open for traffic.
