A 61-year-old Corona man was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after deputies said he attempted to abduct two young girls in separate incidents, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
The first incident occurred around 4:13 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the 25000 block of Santiago Canyon Road, where deputies from the Lake Mathews Station responded to a report that a 12-year-old girl had been grabbed by the arm and nearly pulled into a vehicle. The girl escaped and ran to a nearby adult for help, deputies said.
Authorities quickly obtained a description of the suspect and his vehicle. During a search of the area, the suspect, identified as Delory Sinclar of Corona, was located and arrested in the 11000 block of De Palma Road in the Temescal Valley area of unincorporated Corona. Investigators later learned that Sinclar had also attempted to kidnap a 14-year-old girl just prior to his arrest. Neither of the victims sustained injuries…
