Fullerton Police Department launches online reporting system

Fullerton Police Department launched a new online reporting system March 3, titled “Community Report.”

Citizens can make non-emergency reports online, accessing the system through Fullerton PD’s website under the “Police Services“ tab, then by clicking “File a Police Report.” From there, the options to file a police standard report or a traffic collision report will be available. The AI-powered survey should take around 40 minutes to complete, can be paused or added to at any time and has an estimated department response time of 2 days.

Only crimes that occurred within the city of Fullerton and not on state freeways, such as I-5, S-57 or SR-91, can be reported through the system. Reportable crimes include: assault, burglary pertaining to unattached garages, storage units, businesses and vehicles, trespassing and credit or debit card fraud and financial crimes under $100,000, identity theft, documented child custody violations…
