Irvine Ranch Water District contractors will be making improvements to two drinking water storage reservoirs in the Concord Crossing community off Byron Way.
The work will include the removal and replacement of the tanks’ interior coating, spot repair and an overcoat of tanks’ exterior coating, as well as other improvements. All construction activity will take place on the reservoir site.
Sandblasting inside the tanks during the day will be required to remove the existing coating and prepare the surface for the new interior coating. During the interior recoating process, a dehumidifier will be needed at night and on weekends to ensure proper curing of the new coating…
