Aliso Elementary School students raised $18,549 during the school’s Third Annual Field Day Fundraiser, earning the reward of watching Principal Brett Weiberg and teacher Timothy Macias get slimed in front of the whole school.
Following the 2 p.m. Principal’s Recess on Friday, May 29, students, staff and faculty gathered for the celebratory sliming event.
Students also earned other prizes for reaching funding goals leading up to Field Day. They received a bonus recess with popsicles after reaching $10,000, donuts for the entire school for $15,000 and pizza with the principal for earning $300 or more.
