It is my pleasure to honor and recognize the distinguished Carpinteria High School (CHS) Class of 2026 — 141 graduates! They did it! I am so proud of them and their accomplishments. Their dedication and hard work for these past 13 years have prepared them well for college and careers. I look forward to their contributions to our community and wish them all the happiness and success that they deserve. On May 28, CHS Seniors were recognized for their outstanding academic achievement, service and student leadership for these past four years. A remarkable 58% of the seniors were inducted into the California Scholastic Federation receiving their CSF tassels; 78% earned the Golden State Seal Merit diploma (far above the 35% state average); and 30% earned the Seal of Biliteracy (above the 20% state average)…
