A federal judge allowed Sable Offshore Corp. to continue operating the onshore Santa Ynez Pipeline System, denied California’s request to block the federal Defense Production Act order, and found that the order preempts state actions that would conflict with pipeline operations.
The court also found Sable violated a consent decree and imposed a $1.449 million penalty.
