In this day and age of enlightened eating, where we track our ingredients’ origins and nutritional intake with virtuous glee, encouraging everyone to go out and eat as many burritos as they can in one week would be ridiculously irresponsible, right?
But what if, for one week only, there were more than two dozen establishments selling more than 50 different burritos for just $9? And what if those burritos ranged from traditionally gut-busting to conscientiously vegan, full of ingredients both familiar and foreign, and served from the early morning ‘til the later night?
With all that, how could we not encourage the bagging of beaucoup burritos? It’s not only responsible, it’s downright righteous, a mutually beneficial offering that feeds the masses affordably while bringing new business to the restaurants that sustain us all year long…
