Fire crews responded to structure fire on San Ramon Drive in Santa Barbara County Tuesday

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a two-story residential fire in the 700 block of San Ramon Drive Tuesday morning.

One adult man was rescued from the second-floor balcony and a dog was rescued at the scene as well detail Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The rescued man denied medical treatment at the scene and was transported by paramedics to the emergency room state Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department, arriving firefighters discovered smoke and fire coming from the second story of a two-story residential complex.

A total of 12 residents, including one juvenile, were displaced by the fire and the cause remains under investigation explain Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
