Lake Cachuma Fills to Capacity, Continues to Spill in Wake of Major Storms

Lake Cachuma – a major water source for Santa Barbara County – finally filled to capacity early Sunday morning. The county Public Works Department reported that the reservoir in the Santa Ynez Valley reached the 753-foot elevation – the point at which is considered 100% full – at 3:30 a.m.
