The United States Postal Service (USPS) has confirmed incidents of mail theft at the San Roque Post Office, located on 3345 State Street in Santa Barbara. According to the USPS the incident took place on August 15 with suspects managing to steal several bags of mail. In a related attempt, suspects also targeted the Patterson Avenue Post Office in Goleta later the same day, although, in this instance, their efforts were thwarted.
