The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Julian Carmona of Santa Barbara. He is currently being held at Santa Barbara County Mail Jail on a $1 million bond. Carmona was booked for charges that include kidnapping, domestic battery with injury, assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, false imprisonment, burglary, restraining order violation, and resisting.
