Ventura, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties are in for cooler, gusty conditions tonight as a weak low-pressure system moves through the region. Light rain and mountain snow are expected, with up to a tenth of an inch of rainfall in some areas. Higher elevations could see light snow accumulation.
Northwest to north winds will pick up tonight, gusting up to 50 mph in the mountains and 40 mph across valleys. Coastal areas will experience lighter winds, but gusts of up to 60 mph are possible in the Montecito Hills. Tuesday brings chilly temperatures, with highs in the 50s and 60s inland and 60s to 70s along the coast. Winds will shift to the north-northeast by Wednesday, with temperatures warming 5 to 10 degrees.
