SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — A stretch of cooler-than-normal temperatures will continue across Southern California, with gusty winds and periods of light rain expected through next week, according to the National Weather Service Los Angeles/ Oxnard office.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), strong west-to-northwest winds will develop Friday and persist through Saturday, particularly impacting coastal areas in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and the Antelope Valley. Wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph are expected in these regions, prompting advisories for southwest Santa Barbara County and the I-5 Corridor.
