A California surf instructor, who lost her arm after getting struck by a train while attempting to cross the tracks earlier this month, is speaking out.
Elieah Boyd, 24, had been crossing the train tracks east of Seaward Ave in Ventura, Calif., with her 80-lbs. electric bike on Monday, July 7, at around 5:30 p.m. when she was struck by an oncoming train.
“I just remembered grabbing my arm and looking down [afterward] and it not being there, and just telling myself, ‘There’s no way this just happened. There’s no way this is real,’ ” Boyd recalled to KTLA…
