Another Huge Price Cut for the “Floating Home” in the Harbor

••• The distinctive “floating home” in the harbor is back on the market for $2.75 million, nearly half off the $4.9 million it asked when it first came online in the fall of 2023.

••• The Montecito Trails Foundation says that “the finish line is in sight” for the reconstruction of the upper part of the San Ysidro trail, which has been closed for a long time. And “our next chapter will be the Romero Jeepway, which is planned for 2026.”

••• “Any insights on what the Klaus Automotive building (4235 State Street) on Upper State is going to be?” asked U. “I drive past it everyday and am so curious.” Unless something has changed, the 3,128-square-foot Sunstone Cannabis Market is getting built there.

••• The new-ish owner of 1322 Dover Road on the Riviera didn’t want the “rain totems” after all, so they’ve been removed. Jared Darlington, who installed them with his sister, Louise Levine, says he has plans to do something with them on his property nearby.
