By Old Town Carpinteria Fiesta organizer Suzanne Requejo’s estimates, more than 300 came out last Sunday to enjoy the 10th annual fiesta, held at the Friends of the Carpinteria Library.
City of Carpinteria Vice Mayor Mónica Solórzano and Old Spanish Days El Presidente Fritz Olenberg spoke, and dancers including Timo Nuñez Arte Flamenco Academy, 2025 Spirit of Fiesta Natalia Trevino, 2025 Junior Spirit of Fiesta Victoria Plascencia and Sahagun Dance Academy kept the audience entertained.
