A segment of Foxen Canyon Road east of Santa Maria was expected to remain closed for several hours on Wednesday after a utility pole toppled onto a tractor-trailer, leaving wires on the vehicle with the driver trapped inside.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol were dispatched to a reported electrical hazard on Foxen Canyon Road/Dominion Road on the east side of the Santa Maria Valley, fire spokeswoman Karen Cruz-Orduña said.
