Five people were arrested and dozens of pounds of illegal drugs recovered after searches believed to be related to a widespread trafficking operation in Ventura and other counties, police said.
In the early morning hours of Aug. 7, officers from the Simi Valley Police Department supported by agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration reportedly executed a search warrant at multiple locations in the San Fernando Valley.
