An injured paraglider was rescued by helicopter Monday after crashing into steep terrain near the California coast, officials said.

Santa Barbara County Fire responded at around 1:17 p.m. Monday to a report that a 51-year-old woman had crashed just east of Toro Canyon while paragliding.
