Carpinteria Residents Invited to City Council Meeting Oct. 27: Avocado Festival, Oil Facility, and City Updates on Agenda

The Carpinteria City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Hall, 5775 Carpinteria Ave. The public can attend in person or join online through the city’s website, Government Access Television Channel 21, or Zoom. Comments made on social media will not be sent to council members.

The agenda includes the introduction of new employees Tatiana Suriel and Ruth Zamora. The council will issue proclamations for Promotoras Month and the 39th anniversary of the California Avocado Festival. Chevron U.S.A., Inc. will present information about the decommissioning of the Carpinteria Oil and Gas Facility.
