Victim in false imprisonment case shares new details amid search for missing 9-year-old

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Tyler Brewer, the victim in Ashlee Buzzard’s false imprisonment charge, provided new details on the incident and the search for missing 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard.

Brewer said in a statement he went to Ashlee’s home asking about Melodee. Ashlee disclosed information she then regretted. A box cutter was produced, and she locked the doors, preventing him from leaving her home.

“I have fully cooperated with law enforcement, including providing all information I had,” Brewer said. “My only hope is that the FBI and police are able to use it to help bring Melodee home.”
