Flood Watch Issued as Second Storm Set to Bring Heavy Rain to Santa Barbara County This Weekend

Santa Barbara County expects another storm starting late Friday, November 14, 2025, and continuing into Saturday, November 15. The City of Goleta shared information from county officials that the first storm brought 2 to 4 inches of rain to the South County. The National Weather Service forecasts the next storm will bring 2 to 3 more inches of rain, with periods of heavier rainfall.

A Flood Watch is in effect for most of Santa Barbara County from 1 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 15. Public safety officials are monitoring conditions and may issue evacuation warnings, orders, or shelter-in-place instructions if needed.
