SBCC will remain a key pathway for incoming students despite SB 640

Following the approval of Senate Bill 640, City College seeks to remain a valuable and integral part of student success.

In October, Governor Gavin Newsom signed Bill 640, which would allow high school graduates to be directly admitted to any California State University starting with the 2026-27 academic school year.
