Ejected Motorcyclist Sticks Landing in Truck Bed During Highway Crash

Personally, driving a motorcycle on the interstate was a scary experience. But that doesn’t stop riders who are braver than I. However, they should check out this story about a motorcyclist who managed to land in the back of a truck after wrecking on the highway.

I really hope that this motorcyclist has a speedy recovery after getting into a wreck on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County. However, things could have gone much worse for the 27-year-old.

He was heading north near Carpinteria and was lane-splitting on a Suzuki motorcycle when he struck the back of a truck. As he struck the back of the white Ford F-250, he was launched into the air.

Police officers with the California Highway Patrol shared that he landed in the back of the pickup that he had struck. Santa Barbara County Firefighters immediately responded to the scene and transported the man to a local hospital…
