Meet Socks, a one-year-old pitbull/heeler mix who loves the beach. Socks, who is looking for his forever home, has been with Santa Barbara County Animal Services (SBCAS) since July. County volunteers said Socks is potty-trained, playful, and is obsessed with toys. He also loves other dogs and would do great with a confident canine friend. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people.
“What this sun-soaked soul really needs is an experienced adopter who’ll give him time to trust — and maybe take him to the beach once in a while. Because under that shy exterior is a loyal, loving beach bum just waiting to find his forever wave,” volunteers said…
