A suspected DUI driver crashed into several parked cars in Santa Barbara’s Mesa neighborhood including a classic Corvair on Thursday evening, December 18.
Originally reported by John Palminteri, a “young man” driving a black Toyota Tacoma truck collided with four parked vehicles in the 1400 block of San Miguel Ave.
The crash took place around 9:20 p.m. prompting neighbors to rush outside and call Santa Barbara Police officers.
The Santa Barbara Police Department confirmed all of the parked vehicles were unoccupied and the driver of the truck was arrested at the scene following a DUI investigation. The driver was booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail, his identity has yet to be released…
