Sewer line protection work on Pierpont Blvd
Starting the week of February 23, crews will work along Pierpont Blvd near Monmouth Way to add and expand protective measures around the sewer line. This work is being done to strengthen the area and prevent any issues with nearby utilities.
Due to recent rains, groundwater levels have risen. The City is reinforcing protections to ensure gasoline in the area does not affect City utilities. The Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board continues to oversee cleanup efforts.
