An overnight SpaceX rocket launch could be the first of March in California.
That means, if you want to catch a glimpse, plan to stay up a little later for the weekend liftoff from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County. Once again, Elon Musk’s commercial spaceflight company is planning to launch its Falcon 9 rocket on a mission to transport some Starlink broadband internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.
And because the launch window opens up when it will be plenty dark outside, the 230-foot rocket should be widely visible as it takes off and thunders into the sky…
