The test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile is scheduled for overnight on the Santa Barbara County coast.
The launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base northwest of Santa Barbara is scheduled for sometime between 11:01 p.m. to 5:01 a.m. California time. If weather conditions are right, the missile could be visible over a widespread part of Southern California.
