On March 7, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol and the Santa Barbara Police Department were notified of a kayaker who had not returned.
An adult male had rented a kayak earlier in the day from a harbor rental company and was expected to return by approximately 5:30 p.m.
