Re: your Feb. 6 story, “Nonprofit, developer reach settlement”:

The story reported a settlement over the Two Eleven Thompson development, a huge, six-story, 94-unit structure at Thompson Blvd and Figueroa St. This controversy stems from the city government’s initial inaction and approval.

After the Planning Commission (PC) discussed the development’s clearly out-of-character mass and height, up to 40 feet taller than neighboring structures, four of the seven commissioners recommended approval, a decision that shocked the community…
