A vehicle struck and sheared off a fire hydrant Sunday in the 1200 block of Olsen Road in Solvang, prompting a quick response from Santa Barbara County Fire, the department said.
Crews from Station 30 arrived earlier today, March 15, and successfully shut down the water flow.
