A package exploded inside The UPS Store on Casitas Pass Road in Carpinteria on Monday afternoon. According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, the explosion did not result in any injuries.
Authorities responded to the area just after 3 p.m. on Monday, March 23. The adjacent stores in the Casitas Plaza Shopping Center were evacuated shortly after the explosion occurred.
