A proposed Chick-fil-A drive-thru in Goleta has hit a hurdle. The Santa Barbara Planning Commission on Wednesday voted 3-2 to continue the item in May over unresolved air quality concerns.
Commissioners said the applicant had not provided enough evidence to meet required environmental standards, leading them to continue the item to May 27, 2026.
