Multiple agencies rescued an injured hiker Friday afternoon at Tangerine Falls on the Cold Spring Trail, airlifting the patient to a hospital after a coordinated response.
The call came in at 2:40 p.m. on April 3. Montecito Fire said Squad 91 and Santa Barbara City Fire Engine 77 hiked to the scene and provided initial medical care. Copter 9 responded and hoisted the patient from the base of the falls for transport to the hospital.
Agencies offered differing details about the patient’s identity and injuries.
