12. The Chin Chins Make Their BottleRock Debut
Friday afternoon kicked off with a dose of rockabilly-punk energy as The Chin Chins took over the NorthBay Health Stage. Fronted by singer-songwriter Sara Rose and backed by her husband/Green Day drummer Tre Cool, the band brought a lively, infectious performance that quickly won over early festivalgoers. Their blend of vintage rock influences and modern punk attitude made for one of the weekend’s most enjoyable discoveries.

BØRNS remains one of the more elusive artists on the touring circuit, making his Friday appearance a special treat for longtime fans. One of the weekend’s most talked-about moments happened away from the music stages. Chef José Andrés teamed up with Dave Grohl at the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage to prepare traditional Spanish gazpacho before the Foo Fighters’ Saturday night headlining set.
What began as a cooking demonstration quickly turned into joyful chaos.
