More than two decades after Hilary Duff performed her first Bay Area concert at Petaluma’s Phoenix Theater near the beginning of her music career, the pop star is still trying to piece together exactly what happened that night.
During her sold-out appearance at Shoreline Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 11, Duff paused to recall the unusual Northern California venue where she played one of her earliest shows in November 2003.
