“In case you hadn’t heard, Jinny Lu, formerly a resident of the Pug Hotel in Rohnert Park, now located in Ukiah, took first place in the World’s Ugliest Dog contest at the Sonoma County Fair. The prize included $5,000, her mug on a limited edition of Mug root beer and an appearance on the Today Show.
She and her owner Michelle Grady were whisked away in the wee hours from Ukiah in their own private Uber to catch a flight from San Francisco to NYC. It’s been a whirlwind of nonstop fun and fame since they landed in the Big Apple. Many on the street recognized her and wanted selfies with her. They even took in a Broadway play!
Monday morning was the big debut on the Today Show and Miss Jinny wearing beautiful pearls made just for the occasion looked like a princess!”…
