Students and Santa Rosa Junior College employees packed the SRJC Board of Trustees meeting on Sept. 8 to voice complaints about issues with the newly-implemented Banner student information system, from class schedule stress to lack of employee training.

“We are being treated like an inconvenience, rather than the very reason that this institution exists,” Laquette Skinner said.

Skinner, an SRJC student and student employee, presented the board members with an official record packet that is backed by a petition with over 100 signatures. The signatures from SRJC students and families demanded immediate action…
